Dr. Chud began playing drums in 6th grade and 2 years after that he started playing in local bands. During his high school years he started taking drum lessons from Les DeMerle, Sonny Igoe and Dennis Delucia.  In 1983 he joined the Drum Corps International with The Bayonne Bridgemen.  It was during his tenor with the Bridgemen that he would recieve his first recorded release when The Bayonne Bridgmen were included on the vinyl release of the DCI Championships for that year.

In 1985 Dr. Chud began performing in the club circuit for various original bands until joining Dan Kidney and the Pulsations.  His time with them garnered 4 releases; 1988 Dan Kidney and the Pulsations Never Let UP
1990 Dan Kidney and the Pulsations A Slice Of Live
1990 Dan Kidney and the Pulsations Vinyl & Styrofoam
1991 Dan Kidney and the Pulsations Night People

In 1992 he hooked up with Sal Be/Sardonica as well as Jerry Only and Doyle/Kryst the Conqueror; appearing on Sardonica's debut single Your Own Back Yard.  Since Kryst the Conqueror never performed live and had very little going on Dr. Chud began writing music intended for Jerry's future Misfits as a deal with Glenn seemed imminent.  Instead of saving his new songs for The Misfits™ he took them and recorded/released them with his own band, Sacred Trash.

Of course from 1995-2000 Dr. Chud was part of The Misfits™, appearing on all of their releases at that time as well as a few after his departure from the band.  In 1997 a recording of 1969 he performed on along with Joey Ramone and Jerry Only appeared on We Will Fall: The Iggy Pop Tribute.  In 1999 The Misfits™ song Scream! was featured on the compilation Music With Attitude (Rock Sound).

Immediately after Chud and Michale Graves' depature from The Misfits™ they formed Graves and began touring the very next year before releasing Web of Dharma in 2002 and breaking up.  Also in 2000 Chud hooked up with a band called Fast Times for their self-titled debut as well as appearing on Sardonica's Flip the Grill.

Joey Ramone, Jerry Only and Dr. Chud's recording of 1969 would again be used on a release, this time for Joey Ramone's solo debut, Dont' Worry About Me (2001)

Chud then formed Dr. Chud's X-Ward; the bands first track, Spiderbaby, was released on This Is Horrorpunk in 2003 and their debut came out a year later, Diagnosis For Death

X-Ward covered and released Hanging on the Telephone in 2005.

In late 2000's Chud performed drums with Blitzkid appearing on 2008's Anatomy of Reanimation Vol. 1; which featured new versions of previously released Blitzkid tracks.  In 2009 he appeared on Studio Dead (download only), a live recording of Blitzkid from WFMU in New Jersey.

In 2008 former Misfits™ bandmate Doyle approached Chud to play drums in his new outfit, Gorgeous Frankenstein.  The Misfits™ song Blacklight was featured on the compilation Shut The Fuck Up And Listen II (Portnow Intertainment Group) released in 2009.  Gorgeous Frankenstein would be rechristined Doyle in 2012 and Chud would leave the band in 2014 appearing on their debut release, Abominator (2013)

A year later Chud appeared on the Sonic Creeps single, A Future Dead.

In 2016 Chud's newest project would be released, The Garbage Pail Kids Story: 30 Years of Garbage features a soundtrack by the doctor himself.  Two singles were also released from this project; We're the Garbage Pail Kids and 1980's Was So Great on a limited edition cd.

Not only is Chud an accomplished drummer but he has produced many of the projects he's worked on, directed several videos and performed vocals and guitar on several releases.
