November 25th, 2020:
The page has been gutted, all Misfits/Samhain/Danzig photos have been removed as well as all links to Misfits/Samhain/Danzig live audio/video; due to WIX receiving a copyright complaint over "Unautherized Audio/ video images", "Anything under The Misfits, Samhain, Danzig including all music, photos and logos with includes the crimson ghost/fiend skull are infringements. The entire site is unauthirized and legal dics are visable in the history section." (Yes, this was the actual quote that WIX sent me. Not sure if spelling errors were on their part or the part of the complainant.); for more info on that check the last site news update (October 21st, 2020). I tried to have the news section of the site back on October 21st but the dummies at WIX locked it up again and I haven't had the time to bother with the site lately. The page had a decent run but was bound to be targeted eventually.
October 21st, 2020:
Back on October 14th I was informed by WIX that someone had submitted a DMCA violation against the page; the complaint stated "Unautherized Audio/ video images." and that I had been served "C&D letters in the past". Going on to state, "Anything under The Misfits, Samhain, Danzig including all music, photos and logos with includes the crimson ghost/fiend skull are infringements. The entire site is unauthorized and legal dics are visable in the history section."

Where to begin? First of all Glenn Danzig nor Jerry Only retain any rights (copyright or intellectual property) to The Crimson Ghost, to state so is falsifying legal documents. Next stating that the site is "unautherized" is redundant since it says right up at the top that the "...site is not authorized by Glenn Danzig/Evilive Music, Jerry Only/Cyclopian Music, Inc., Misfits A.D. nor any of their representatives.". Also and for the record, I have never been served any C&D letters; there have been previous Facebook copyright complaints but not a single C&D letter. There of course should be room for this page under "fair use" but there's no way a site like WIX (Facebook, Youtube, etc.) is going to argue that defense over "intellectual property" claims. For now the majority of the Fiend Crypt Wix site is disabled.

Not to mention the return of the Fiendish Art folder too. A huge collection of Misfits inspired art pieces from fiends; I encourage all fiends to check it out and to checkout the artists as well. So many talented fiends out there.

The Original Misfits finished up their set just a short while ago. I managed to get a few Facebook live feeds and some Instagram photos; I'll spend the next several days finding more video and photos from the show for the Fiend Crypt archives.

The Original Misfits will perform two shows in September 2019; the first at White River Ampitheatre on the 14th and the second at Fiddler's Green Ampitheatre on the 17th.
