We all know Doyle's early discography and history right? Right? I mean we're all fiends here. Doyle, younger brother of Jerry, started helping behind the scenes in The Misfits from a young age, by 15 he was in the studio laying down guitar (August/September 1980) shortly before officially becoming their third guitarist at The Misfits show on October 31st, 1980 at Club 57/Irving Plaza in New York. His first studio work appeared on 3 Hits From Hell 7" EP (April 1981) with his guitar front and center in a layer with Bobby Steele's [Robbie Alter performs guitar on London Dungeon]. Doyle (like his brother) would remain with The Misfits until Glenn ended the band on October 29th, 1983; where he would follow (yet again) in his brother's footsteps working fulltime at the families machine shop, Congruent Metals. His guitar can also be found on the Halloween 7" single, Walk Among Us (it isn't known how much though as Glenn overdubbed all the guitar on the final sessions), Earth A.D., Die Die My Darling 12" single and Evilive; as well as various songs on the collections and boxset.

In late 1987 he and Jerry would form Kryst the Conqueror, a pseudo-Christian metal band that never performed any shows; recording an album in (1989) and releasing the Deliver Us From Evil EP in 1990.

Next up in 1995 he would join Jerry (Michale Graves and Dr. Chud) to form their version of The Misfits after securing the performing/recording rights to the name in an out-of-court-settlement with Misfits mastermind Glenn Danzig. They would go on to tour the world and release two albums of new material; American Psycho (May 13, 1997) and Famous Monsters (August 1999) along with several singles, a rarities album, Cuts From the Crypt (December 29, 1999) and a live album, Evilive II (August 14, 1998) [available exclusively through The Official Misfits Fiend Club]. In 1999 The Misfits™ song Scream! was featured on the compilation Music With Attitude (Rock Sound). Michale Graves and Dr. Chud would leave (be booted out of) The Misfits™ on October 25th, 2000; Doyle continued on with the band but due to his brother's lack of interest in finding a new singer (using himself instead as frontman) would leave the band after a few shows in May 2001.
In 2004 he began appearing at Danzig shows performing mini-Misfits sets with the band, it was also that same year that he began forming his own band, Gorgeous Frankenstein. By 2006 he had hooked up with bassist Argyle Goolsby (Blitzkid) and had begun working on songs. Doyle would create/arrange all the guitar, bass and drums for the project; Landon Blood was recruited to perform vocals and Jesco Devilanse (Blitzkid) the drums. That same year Jerry Only released the Psycho in the Wax Museum EP through Misfits Records; it featured 2 instrumental tracks from The Misfits™ recorded back in 1997.

In 2007 their self-titled debut was released and shortly thereafter the band would begin touring (August 15th-September 12th, 2008); the album was produced by Glenn Danzig and released on his Evilive Records label. Argyle would takeover vocal duties and former Misfits™ drummer Dr. Chud would perform drums during this period; they would also perform several Misfits™ covers at these shows.

In 2009 Cancerslug frontman Alex Story was brought on as new vocalist along with "Left Hand" Graham on bass. From this point on the band would no longer perform Misfits™ covers as Alex Story had not been a fan; Doyle himself seemed to be having a change of heart (to the negative) over that period of his career as well. The one exception would be during their first (and only 2009) show with Alex at Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, NJ on December 26th, 2009 when Michale Graves came out for a 3/4 Misfits™ reunion, performing Helena, Lost in Space, Scarecrow Man and Shining; interestingly enough the band was actually opening for Danzig that night (and contrary to any reports you may hear/see/read, Glenn and Michale Graves have never met). The band would also abandon all previous material and begin playing all new songs, save for the self-titled, Gorgeous Frankenstein performed at this show. That same year the Misfits™ song Blacklight was featured on the compilation Shut The Fuck Up And Listen II (Portnow Intertainment Group).

In 2010 the band released the You Must See It To Believe It DVD (also through Evilive Records) which included a 2008 tour documentary as well as the video for Man or Monster (directed by Glenn Danzig) and did a handful of shows (June 15th-June 21st, 2010).

In 2011 Gorgeous Frankenstein would be rechristened Doyle and they would begin recording material for a "debut" album. Abominator was released on July 30th, 2013; through the newly formed Monsterman Records label. Doyle (himself) would spend the majority of that year touring with Danzig.

In 2014 Doyle announced the Abominator Tour (August 16th-September 15th, 2014), prior to the first dates though Dr. Chud would leave the band and instead Anthony "Tiny Bubz" Biuso would be brought in so the tour wouldn't have to be cancelled.
2015 brought yet another tour for Abominator (September 25th-November 9th, 2015) with Brandon Pertzborn taking over on drums and DieTrich Thrall on bass.
In late 2016 Doyle signed with EMP. He also began participating in The Original Misfits shows, the first on September 4th at RiotFest Denver.
The band's "2nd" album, Doyle II: As We Die was released on June 2nd, 2017 and the Abominate The World Tour went from June 1st-July 15th, 2017; with Ward Murff taking over on drums and Bradon Strate on bass.

Doyle recently finished up the As We Die-World Abomination Tour February 21st-January 3rd, 2019 and since 2016 [he] has done over 10 shows with The Original Misfits.
